Each year in December, in the village of Puyuma southeast of Taiwan, arrived on time to celebrate the ritual of Mangayaw. The ceremonial cycle affirms the socio-cosmic unity with the participation of all inhabitants and focuses rituals reordering of society as a whole. The ritual consists of a succession of eight rites which take place over ten days. Firstly, people are rebuilding the dormitory and the young men's house, then the village is purified. The tutelary spirits are resacralization, the spirits of the village gates are resettled, the minds of lenders are thanked rice food and houses are purified. Young then perform the rites of passage. It's finally starting to hunt for men and women preparing for their return. The ritual ends with a rite of aggregation, dance. Then after the party, held the end of the mourning and offerings to ancestors.
