Art and culture are essential identities of ASEAN nations, the original culture of the people in this region first developed a common culture. Later then, some countries have adopted or integrated religious culture from India, China and the West, giving each country in the region cultural similarities and differences. Especially in art, which reflects religious beliefs and ideas of each nation that have appeared on various fine arts.
Therefore, historical art methods are used for analysis to explain and demonstrate the evidence of patterns of different eras in the arts of each ASEAN country. Also, depicting the uniqueness of each country’s art. Besides, it also demonstrates the relations of people in the region through common beliefs, but there are various forms of art, differing from each social area, which reflects the integration of faith and the creation of unique works of art in each region as well.
