Database Structure

The SAC Research Database utilizes the Dublin Core Metadata as a standard for structure design and set format for the data. However, in response to the demand for research management usage of the organization and to provide convenience for the user who wants intensive data rather than the general information, the committee has added the SAC qualifier as an extension from the Core metadata of the Dublin Core Metadata for more in-depth and specific information, which the metadata of the SAC Research Database consists of 16 core data and 57 sub-component data. These data materials have been designed to realize the importance of content details, contexts and structures of the research studies of the SAC comprehensively, to provide convenience for the user to access the information and to choose the information of each subject effectively.
