This descriptive and qualitative study examined the factors affecting cultural changes of the Urak Lawoi community at Laem Tukkae Village, Tambon Rasada, Muang District, Puket Province. The sample group was selected by using the systemic random sampling method and a structured interview was utilized as the main data collection instrument. The independent factors were gender, age, education level, years living in the community, and monthly family income. The dependent factors included house construction, dress, and consumption culture. It was found that both internal and external factors affected cultural changes of the Urak Lawoi community.
