Review of Soil Museum, Land Development Department

The Soil Museum is located on the lower floor of the Land Development Department on Phaholyothin Road, near Kasetsart University. Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presided over its inauguration on 20 May 2006. Her signature appeared on a plaque made of clay. His Majesty the King’s picture is there. A quotation from his speech delivered on 6 October 2001 at Ban Khao Tao School in Amphoe Hua Hin, Prachuap Khirikhan Province, reads “… Good soil means that it yields fertilizers. If no vegetation is grown, the soil does not work or yield anything.
